QA/QC Processes and Analysis
Almost all the decisions that are made regarding a mining project from exploration to mine closure are based on values obtained from sampled material. The geological model is the second pillar of the recoverable resource model, where the most subjective part is for the construction of a geostatistic block economic model and requires a deep knowledge of the geology alterations structure mineralization and genesis of the deposit. The value of a model lies in its reliability and predictability. A model is reliable when it can be audited and shows consistency and coherence. It is predictive when we can generate future mining plans based on this model.
